Doors "keep proportions" feature

It looks like all doors have a strange feature: once opened in "modify openings" they get "keep proportions" permanently ticked on and that's the end - sizes get updated into something irrelevant and can't be adjusted.
How do I disable "keep proportions"? Or at least what is the purpose of it that I don't get?
It has made me keep all the doors shut because if I open one, it changes the sizes.
It looks like all the models have this feature.

Re: Doors "keep proportions" feature

This is because it’s too complicated to compute the adjustment of the 3D model of this kind of objects without deforming it when only one dimension is changed.
Just close the door, change its size and reopen it.

Re: Doors "keep proportions" feature

Hi Emmanuel,

Thank you :-) It works as you say in general.
I think the "depth" is confusing as it changes when I the door gets open. I thought "the depth of a door" would indicate the max range of the opening (which means the width of the door and not the frame). It looks like it simply shows the depth of the current opening.
