Trim the end of a curved wall

I designed a curved staircase that is hidden behind a book case. To meet the space requirements, I would like to trim the end off of the curved wall to provide better access to the stairwell. Every time I try to move the endpoint of the wall, the shape changes. How can I do this?

Re: Trim the end of a curved wall

There's no easy way to shorten a curved wall. Best you draw a new wall.

Mark starting and end point of your wall.
Delete old wall & draw a new wall from/to the marked points.
Redefine the curve.

Re: Trim the end of a curved wall

No need for a new wall.
Imagine the full 360 ° circle of your curved wall. Find out how many degrees you want to shorten it with, and subtract that number from your current arc extent measure. Then your wall will snap into place.

Re: Trim the end of a curved wall

This changed the arc and would not work, but thank you for the attempt!
