How do I create a roof supported with posts and no walls over a carport?
All I can figure out is walls. Here is a picture of what I need to do a floor plan for...

First, I would add a level. On this 'second' level I would use two triangles to make the Carport main structure. Then use six boxes to make the posts on the ground level.

It would give something like this:

I did this without knowing every measurement.

That is awesome. I have a lot to learn. Including how to know when someone responded to my post here. Just seeing your replies. Would you be willing to send me this file so I could use it as a starting point? If yes, my email is barrydollar@gmail.com
Thanks for showing me it can be done!

Sure, I'll send the file I had keep it in case you wanted it XD.

As for knowing where someone responds to your post, I suggest you put it in your favorite. Then you can go to your profile and click on 'My Favorite Threads'. From there you can see if someone had answered. Also, I have no idea if there is an easier way to see if someone answers a thread. I'm still new to the forum.
