Imported furniture

Hi,

I imported a furniture, door handle, in .dae format and checked the option to add to the catalog. I was wondering where this furniture was saved, because when I open the furniture catalog at C:\ Users\xxxxx\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\ furniture, the furniture is not in the file forniture.sh3f nor in the file contributions.sh3f! ... where was the furniture that was imported saved?

Thanks
Clamarc

Re: Imported furniture

They are stored in .pref files.

Re: Imported furniture

Imported 3D models are not always converted to OBJ format. The content of ZIP files are not modified for example. But you shouldn't rely on this because it could change one day, the reason why files are suffixed by .pref to avoid users changing them.
If you want to edit a 3D model at OBJ format, you should rather import it then export it with the 3D view > Export to OBJ format menu item.
