sad After enabling some 3D view app stops to respond

I have just played a little with SH3D, and by clicking too fast I have enabled (I think) some feature to display 3D view in 'separate window'. After that, app is working, but I can't do anything. The only way to quit app is to force quit in mac os, as clicking on any menu is doing nothing.
I have uninstalled and installed the app from Mac App Store, but it 'remembers' my preferences and start up with 'recovered' project.
Is there a way to clear all my preferences, so app will stop to load a project at start-up?
I am using M1 MB Air, I am guessing app has some issue with that probably.

any advise is welcome, as in the moment I can't use app at all 😳

Re: After enabling some 3D view app stops to respond

If you have a monitor attached to your laptop, turn it off, open Sweet Home 3D, choose Display in main window for the recovered file and save it. Then you may turn on your monitor again.
I hope that multiple monitors support will work better in a future version of Sweet Home 3D (or could it be an issue in Big Sur?)

Re: After enabling some 3D view app stops to respond

In fact, I do not have additional monitor (external one). When the app is launched, I can see it has two tabs, but it is not possible to close any of them, it is not possible to click on any menu 😞 only option I can see it to "force quit". So maybe, as workaround - is it possible to delete my 'preferences' so app will start without trying to restore my 'saved' workspace?
I have uninstalled and installed again, but but I am still in the same point.

In the Finder, select the Go > Go To Folder... menu item, type the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.eteks.sweethome3d.SweetHome3D/Data/Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D (tilde included) and remove the recovery folder that you'll find there.
If you could send me the file it contains, it might help me better understand your problem, and maybe fix a possible bug.

I have similar problems if I accidentally open the 3d view and try to reattach it. It freezes and must be force quit. Also the latest mac app store version. I also get freezes when I close files, but I'm unsure if that's related.

Re: After enabling some 3D view app stops to respond

Thanks for your support Emmanuel, I have renamed "recovery" folder and now application starts up with new empty project.
In the 'recovery' folder I can see is my project file, and when I try to open that - app freeze again, so definitely there is something wrong with that. I will send you in PM the file from this recovery folder, maybe you will find it useful,
Thanks again!
