2d furniture render problem

after adding a library and a model, the 2d view doesn't show the furniture detail. existing furniture lost theirs and when trying to add again it is also blank

added Contributions.sh3f and kitchenSmallLowerCabinet.mtl

Re: 2d furniture render problem

Check File -> Preferences -> Furniture icons in plan
Here you can choose Top view to see your furniture.

Hopefully that solves your problem

Re: 2d furniture render problem

thanks, I reinstalled and it fixed the render so I don't know if the 2d box was unchecked, it appears the default install has it checked and I never changed it so not sure what happened. then suddenly all the furniture had the toilet pic, so I reinstalled again and it fixed that. my win10 os is running on a 128gb ssd, which is the c drive. so to save space there I installed sweet home on a hdd. perhaps that is making it flakey? I have other programs installed on the hdd and they seem to run ok. I have been using sweet home for 2 years before on a standard hdd which was the default c drive and never had any problems like this
