How to: move whole house around a plot

Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I've finished design of my house (only the basic floor plan, without furniture), now I'd like to move the house into the plot, the problem I'm having is when I started the design, I put the floor plan close to the edge of SH3D, so there's no room for me to add garden around the house (the slider bar for either X or Y can't go further), tried to lock the plan and move around, didn't work, is there any other way to do it? Please... don't tell me that I have to start all over again, start with the plot, then position the house inside the plot.

Re: How to: move whole house around a plot

Several methods...
1 - The plugin AdvancedEdit has a MOVE function that moves whatever you select.
2 - If you draw walls or rooms, you can move the cursor beyond the 0,0 point of the 2D preview window (=more to the left or to the top). It works in small increments, but it's possible.
3 - Faster method: Draw a room close around the house and use EditPoints (in AdvancedEdit) to change the coordinates of the room.
4 - Start a wall at (e.g.) -500,-500. Click on WALL button, move cursor in 2D window (don't click), hit ENTER, and enter desired coordinates in the pop-up window.

Re: How to: move whole house around a plot

A trick I use to enlarge the scrolling area is to pick a random object and drag it with the mouse in the direction I want to extend. Then undo the move and the scrollable area remains enlarged. Zoom out before dragging and it will move a great distance. That way you can work around the house without moving it.

If you really want to move the house do what hansmex suggested. One addition: If you have multiple levels there's a menu option under Edit: Select all at all levels. Do that selection and then use the plugin move function to move the whole house.

Right on, this way I don't need to move, thanks a lot for this tip.
