Lower object above stairs in 2D.

Have a desk partially under stairs.
Perfect in 3D.
In 2D it appears that the desk is over the stairs.
Have noticed the same thing when putting chairs under a table.
How do I fix this?
Thanx, Alan

Re: Lower object above stairs in 2D.

Can't believe I didn't think of this earlier.
Raised the elevation of the stairs by .001 Meter.

Re: Lower object above stairs in 2D.

The desk wasn't lower, it was at the same elevation as the stairs (0). But you probably added the desk after the staircase which means it shows over the the staircase. Instead of elevating the staircase with 1mm you can cut&paste the staircase and thus placing it higher in the order in which objects are added to the list.
Objects show in the order they were added if they are on the same elevation. This works the same when you group objects: the last selected to group shows over the other objects you group.
