Stairs & Bay windows

How do i create stairs and bay windows???

Vic,

1 - Bay window
The easiest way is to use the picture window from the 3D models page.
In case the window doesn't stick out from the wall enough, first insert a hatch in the wall to make the hole, then insert the picture window in the hole of the hatch using the arrow keys on your keyboard to prevent the window from adapting itself to the wall thickness. Or you can temporarily disable magnetism in Preferences, or by using the SHIFT key. Of course you can also make your own window.

2 - Staircase
If you need a staircase, the easiest way is to search in the Sketchup Warehouse.
If you can't find the staircase you need, you can make it yourself. One way of doing it, is making it with walls, export to OBJ format, import as furniture and rotate it. You can read the roof tutorial to get the general idea (PDF ). If that's not clear, I can make a short tutorial on how to do it.
