White surface in 3D photo aerial view

Hi, I would like to get the white surface when I create a photo from a 3d object in aerial view. Even if I choose surface to be white, it always comes out kind of silver-greyish.
Thanks!

Re: White surface in 3D photo aerial view

that's because the camera (you looking at your object) has to be nearly exact the same direction the light is coming from.

Otherwise not enough light bounces back to the "camera", meaning white appears grey.

So, if you look down vertically, make sure the "sun" (as your light source) is at high noon position in mid summer near the equator :-)
this should give you "white" objects.
