Cannot launch Java application... Nice one

Uncaught exceptio in main method:
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError:
Bad version number in .class file

was my reward after installing all plugins from "pluginsUserGuide-1.pdf"

I must have done something stupid along the way.

Could anyone help me cope with this?

Re: Cannot launch Java application... Nice one

You probably use a too old version of Java. On what system are you?

Re: Cannot launch Java application... Nice one

You must be using a plugin that wasn't compiled for the Java version you use in Mac OS X.
Normally, if the programmer of the plug-in prepared it correctly, it should be detected at program launch when the plug-in is loaded, but you seem to find a misconfigured plug-in.
Please, open a window in the Finder, choose Go > Go to... menu item, and copy/paste the following text to go to the folder where plug-ins are stored:
~/Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D/plugins

Remove all the plug-in files you'll find and relaunch Sweet Home 3D to check it works correctly. Then add the plug-ins one by one, relaunching the program each time, until you find the one that fails.
Hope you can handle it and report here the wrong plug-in.
