smile Scale1Portal - 3D Immersive systems for estate agency

Hello all,

I work for a startup called SCALE-1 Portal (www.scale1portal.com). We creates some 3D immersive systems and we would like to aim the estate agency market...

Some of them use Sweet Home 3D. So, we try to integrate Sweet Home 3D data in our system by an OBJ export and it's a great success!

We think the community can help us to have some samples of flat or house to demonstate our technology? Are there some people who will be agree to share with us their projets? Are you in?

Check this page for a demosntration video : http://www.scale1portal.com/en/architecture-review/

Many thanks in advance!
Julien

Re: Scale1Portal - 3D Immersive systems for estate agency

Hi Julien,

I quite like the idea. However, I think users would hesitate to give up their designs just like that (and for some, there may be copyright issues, especially with the models they have imported for their private use). Also, many, like me, work on their own homes and feel a bit strange about putting too much of your personal environment on-line.

Yet, may users are also proud of their designs. So what could work, I guess, is if you launched a competition of sorts, combined with a file repository / gallery for the designs/homes. Maybe with some estate agent / architect offering nice comments, maybe with a discussion. And it might work even better if you did it in collaboration with eTeks.

Just a thought.

ok
