Multi-layers hability

Hi estimated developpers,
trying and testing with Sweet Home 3D, I had a dream about a missing possibility: could it be possible to create multiple layers for one level and to make them visible or invisible, locked or unlocked, etc. The reason for this is, for example, to draw the electrical connections in one layer, the plumbing in another one, the furniture in a third one, and so on, all of them using the same basic wall structure. It could then be possible to print the electrical diagram without the furniture.
I don't know if my wish is realistic or not, but I think it could be helpfull. What's your meaning about this?
Regards,
Thierry

Re: Multi-layers hability

It's an old request, but I don't think that layers are a good idea in a program targeted to a general public audience. Note that you can already create levels at the same elevation (see this message for an example), but can't make them invisible. At best, this is what might happen in a coming version.
