Thanks. For new users, I might add that for copyright reasons explained in thread 972 there is every reason for models not to resemble unique IKEA designs. But no manufacturer can claim rights to generic models such as a wing chair. Ryan's very nice office suite (thread 7968) is what reminded me of my father's chair. And as my father's chair was very generic and designed very many years ago, I used that as a design model from memory. First of all because I like the simple design, but that also helped me avoid any copyright issues.

There are also lots of models available in the 3Dwarehouse, but as hansmex pointed out, many do not texture easily and are, in my opinion, way bigger than then need to be. Big models can be worthwhile for specific high detail designs, but are also a pain to work with in terms of speed.
