Texture AND colour at the same time?

Not sure this is doable - or sensible. Many surfaces will have a structure of sorts, different panels, stucco, carpet, tiles etc. What if there was a greyscale texture library, and that colour could be added "on top"?

Just a few seamless textures could provide a very large range of possibilities. And it would be easy to "paint" a structured wall, add a different hue to the lawn, change the colour of the carpet etc. Or to take a shipping container from thread 5778 as an example...

Just a thought. ok
