Museum scenography designed in sweethome 3d

Normally an archicad user, but since time was not on my side i've tried sweet home 3D to visualize the scenography for a new museum.

Wow! 180 hours! More than a week! I'm glad to know that the program could run correctly during such a long time smile

180 hours! I could never be so patient to wait to see a finished render of my design. 10 points for that in itself!

It's pleasing to see all the different types of projects that people are creating with SH3D.

This is really cool. Massive model. Good layout. Reminds me a bit of The Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. Love all the Retro gear - brings back memories. So it's already a successful museum in that respect! ;)

smile Re: Museum scenography designed in sweethome 3d

thanks for the feedback.

i was lucky to have a spare computer, but still :
it's only after you see the rendered version you notice that you forgot some texture or detail...

I must say i really put SH3D to the test here and during the month
of intensive layouting it never crashed on me !

Thanks for liking the layout. it was a bit of a challenge, since
it's a space of 30 x 40 meters with a concrete pillar every 7 meters.
In order to get a decent "route" and 4 period rooms i needed to come up with a plan.

here's a 4K aerial view, this one also took some time for rendering :
