Re: Problem when exporting to OBJ

Before exporting, select the object that you want to export.
When exporting, choose Export selection.

Now the piece of floor will not be exported.

Re: Problem when exporting to OBJ

Interesting.
I checked in my version 5.0, and indeed this option doesn't appear.
Maybe something went wrong.

@Emmanuel, is this a regression, or are we doing something wrong?
I checked in v4.5 and it doesn't show the option either.

UPDATE
Ooops, I'm being stupid. Click SAVE and the option appears.

Re: Problem when exporting to OBJ

I just checked and got the question dialog box asking to export the selected items or all the home. Strange... sad

Re: Problem when exporting to OBJ

Use Help-About to get info about SH3D and Java versions.

I get the Export selection option with
Sweet Home 3D ® Version 5.0
Java version 1.8.0_51 / 32 bit / 0.6 GB max

Tried different combinations of furniture, furniture+walls etc - and export/import obj works normally. IF there is a selection, the Export selection option appears (after overwrite) when saving/exporting.

ok
