Models loosing texture

I am using SH3D 5.1 portable version in Windows 7. While importing the models in collada format, few models loose the texture. Few of these models were originally in sketchup skp format, which I exported to collada format using SketchUp Pro 2015. Can anyone help me out on the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Models loosing texture

Collada exports (a) the model file and (b) a directory with textures. If you move the model file, you should also move the texture directory. If you don't, your models lose their textures.

Re: Models loosing texture

Hi Hansmex,
Thanks for the advice, but while importing the model in SH3D it is not taking the texture directory. I meant I had made a zip file with the texture directory and the dae file and then tried importing the same in SH3D, it says that it is an unrecognised format. Can you help.

Re: Models loosing texture

is it necessary to have the texture images in png or jpg format only? Does SH3D do not recognize TIFF format images?
