Here Gallery phase III :

The "stars" shine on the floor too and give a defect to the picture.
Looking forward to see in Q4 rendering.

800 x 600 in Q4 without Rendering 1.3.1

Re: Versailles : Gallery of Mirrors

Hi bdfd...don't use Q4 I think. You will ever have white spots there. Or if you use rendering 1.3.1 and you will use 'silk' or 'default' shines you will need very high antialiasing number not to have that white spots there.

Damned, Same thing ! crying

So I tryed another way : the floor is matte and not glossy.
After 5 hours of calculation (1024 x 768 in Q4 with R1.3.1, here Gallery phase IV.

The end is near... smile

Re: Versailles : Gallery of Mirrors

Really great job! But may I suggest to decrease the lights. I think it is a little too bright...

Re: Versailles : Gallery of Mirrors

If Versailles were told to me ...
Gallery Phase V with new high cornices, a ceiling centered
and finally new lampposts with cherubims (made by myself)...

1024x768 in Q4 (without R1.3.1)

Thanks, all lights are at 50%; I'll try to put them at 25% to compare. smile

Re: Versailles : Gallery of Mirrors

May I suggest, if it is not too late, to matte also the statues. Looking forward to see the result at 25%.
