Home Cinema
I am trying to design a home cinema with multiple floor levels (seats on different steps) and a gallery with viewing to the level below. I have been unable to find a way to create a level without having four walls (I want one wall to be absent/very low, to view through/over). Is this possiboe, or should I be adding it to the WishList?

Re: Home Cinema
Emmanuel: You could call it a mezzanine of sorts, I suppose. It is the same idea as a room that overlooks another without an actual window, so BDFD's suggestion might work... it only needs a small retaining wall. Veroniq: I had thought of boxes, but I need them to be slighty odd shapes, rather than rectangular. I wanted to make the floor levels arced quarter circles, with a screen in the corner and seats arranged around 90 degrees. I'm a bit of a greenhorn when it comes to custom designs... only been at this for the past few days.

Re: Home Cinema
Hi Did you mean something like this if you did then you can get the sh3d file from here from it you should be able to figure out the walls and floors, each "step" is a room created in the individual area then exported and imported as an object. the beauty of using rooms in this way is that its shape, when drawn freehand is limited only by your imagination, or you can, as i did create walls any angle or arc, create a room in it then delete the walls. Hope this helps, great idea doing a cinema, good luck Mike

MikeR777: That's amazing! You should really go in for some serious theatrical design work. You could make a fortune with those sorts of designs. This is exactly the sort of thing I was looking to do. I can use this as a pattern to create my own design.
