Re: Fatal error - please update DirectX/OpenGL

Try the version available at download page, and then if it still doesn't work, try the SweetHome3D-Java3D-1_5_2 script it provides too.

Thanks

The downloaded package errors the same as the installed package. The Java script however works.

Do I need to change my java config for the installed package to work?

Re: Fatal error - please update DirectX/OpenGL

The installer proposed on download page comes with its own private copy of Java, so you can even remove the version of Java you installed on your computer if you want.

Re: Fatal error - please update DirectX/OpenGL

Yes, but I would like to continue to use the version that comes with the system keeping it integral and automatically updated with the rest of the system. Can I resolve this without resorting to the manually downloaded version from the website?

Re: Fatal error - please update DirectX/OpenGL

Sorry, I can't maintain many different versions for Linux variants. Releasing a new version takes already a lot of time and the solution I propose works with updates warning when a new version is released.

Hi,
Are you able to confirm if you are use OpenJDK with the bundled Linux download and what version this is?
