smile Removing measurments

Hi everyone - I've just discovered SweetHome 3D and must say I am very impressed. Thanks to all who have made it available.

I have a couple of 'Newbie' questions; I've tried to find answers before posting, but no luck. Apologies if I've missed them.

1. We are trying to sell a house in France (bereavement sale) and thought a floor plan might help - market is SO slow here.
I have drawn the plan but the measurements are not accurate - they don't need to be, I just wanted to show the room layout. But I can't seem to get rid of the measurement in square metres right in the middle of the floor. I have used the floor tiles (as in the real house) and the only way I can find to remove the measurement is to remove the tiles - which I don't want to do. Any suggestions, please? Oh, and can I completely remove the grid from the 2D plan before converting it to pdf? AND (sorry!!) can the 2D plan be converted to an image rather than a pdf?

2. I have been trying to convert the 3D image to photo - no matter what the number of pixels I choose, the image still isn't as clear as those on the tutorial. I am having problems with the lighting too - far too bright; the problem is that the house is painted in white throughout - this removes all the detail when converted to image. Can any one suggest how I can produce a good quality image? I am using Windows 8.1 on an Acer desktop with an AMD processor.

Many thanks. Looking forward to hearing from you. We are desperate to sell this house - thought having a plan might lift it above the competition a bit!

Re: Removing measurments

1a - Modify rooms - Display area
1b - File - Prefernces - Grid - Visible
1c - Plan - Export to SVG format

2 - Hard to say without seeing your plan.

Re: Removing measurments

1c - as Hansmex says, it is possible to export to SVG which also allows further editing with an SVG editor such as Inkscape.

In addition, when you select items in the 2D view and copy, an image (bitmap) is also generated to the clipboard and can be pasted in to a graphic editor (Paint / Gimp or whatever).

ok
