Furniture files upload, textures will not

I'm on Win10 (and hate it). My textures are stored in: C:\Users\kapow\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\textures

Two questions:
1) Do the newer zip files contain all of the older textures as well, or do I need to download all zip files to get them all? I grabbed all of them.

2) If I doubleclick on the sh3t file, I have to choose an application to open it and then it still doesn't install the textures.
If I "Import textures library", I get these two files in my textures folder: eTeksScopia.sh3t and Textures-Contributions-1.0.1.sh3t. I should now have almost 400 textures, but I have a little over 100.

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Furniture files upload, textures will not

Gut feeling, this is one of the Win 10 (or Edge/IE) improvements.

I seem to remember having issues with Edge/IE and Win10 insisting on renaming (shdf/sh3t) files to .zip - and even so, not importing libraries to SH3D by double-clicking the file. A bit vague on what actually happend as I never tried to reproduce, I just avoid Win 10 instead.

But unless my memory faulty, you could try the following.
- make sure that the file extension is .sh3t (or sh3f).
-- import using menu item Furniture-ImportTexturesLibrary from inside SH3D, OR
-- place the library with .sh3t extension directly in the directory (double check using Help-About-Libraries and click on a texture libary) and restart SH3D.

Good luck.

ok

I don't use Edge at all (I don't trust it.), but it seems to be running even when I've never used it and actually turned it off, and my program to clean up junk finds stuff in the Edge folder.

I'll give all your suggestions a try. Can't do it right now with Thanksgiving coming up... too much to do.

Thank you for the suggestions. :)
