Re: Not the image i was expecting

The second screenshot is a little blurred so it’s difficult to guess your issue.

Re: Not the image i was expecting

Elevation is totally different, pool is visible in 3d view but does not appear in the image, settings for render are default except silk, same as I always use. 1st image is the render, 2nd image is of the 3d view showing render process.

Re: Not the image i was expecting

I'm not sure the rendered image is wrong because it's computed from a higher point of view (look at the roof!). In case you didn't notice yet (but it would be astonishing that it didn't happen to you yet), it's possible to change the point of view and anything else in the scene during the rendering process without bothering rendering engine.

Re: Not the image i was expecting

Try to use virtual visit and change and modify virtual visitor settings elevation of view , field of view to get a satisfying result

Re: Not the image i was expecting

Hi waleedfahmy
Welcome to the forum
Thx for the advise but that was not the issue, the virtual visitor was set up so that the house in the background would be reflected in the pond, foreground, as can be seen in the 2nd image i posted, that image also shows the progress of the renderer, almost finished, the image being rendered does not match, there is no water and the roof is showing, this suggests a much higher elevation. It looks like, as emmanuel said, the viewer elevation was changed, since i don't actually sit here while renders are done, i have my doubts.
