Elevation related to sea level

Hello,

I want to simulate the sun incidence to my house. I have defined the coordinates where the house is located and the compass.

Now I am wondering if with those coordinates SH3D gets the terrain elevation, so 0 level in SH3D refers to it or 0 level in SH3D allways refer to sea level.

I am asking because my house is 1200m above sea level and this should be consider for sun incidence, right?

Hi,

Yes only if you have not mountains between the house and the sunset and/or sunrise...

There is a big incidence if the house is in a lower valley.
