from dxf (2D) to SH3D-Furniture?

I have a 2D-sketch of a table form which I need to get in SH3D as a furniture. How could I do so with no modelling skills and without a 3D CAD?

NO hints, were I could start to learn how to handle with a dxf file?

Re: from dxf (2D) to SH3D-Furniture?

OK, I just created a jpg of the CAD-File and imported in SH3D as background image and painted a room with tiny walls along the table outline. Marked the room and copied as new furniture.

Unfortuanely the form is not filled on the top and the bottom. Perhaps there are any hints for making a room to an solid furniture?

Sweet Home 3D isn’t designed to create furniture models even if it’s always possible by assembling various shapes, rooms and walls.
