SH3D and eGPU ????

I am running an older MacBookPro with thunderbolt2.
As my SH3D becomes large (300MB), working is a pain....
I am planing to buy a new MacBookPro with Thunderbolt3.
This would allow me the use of an external Graphicscard (eGBU) with 8GB), like Radeon RX Vega 56 or similar.
My question: Does SH3D supports eGPU?
Does anyone has positive experiences with SH3D and eGPU?
Thanks a lot
Frank

Re: SH3D and eGPU ????

If the eGPU isn't managed transparently by the system itself, there's no chance that Sweet Home 3D can use it. If ever you have the chance to try, please report how it worked.
