64 bits installation

Hi there,
since a few days now I am trying to install a stable 64-bit version for Windows 10, no luck. One day it works, the next it does not.
Downloaded the newest Java version, then the latest SH3d (selecting 64-bits) and the 3d view works spendidly. Next day, I have to wait 5-10 seconds for the 3D view to update.
Then tried the .jnlp version. Again, works most of the days, then others not. Today none of them do.
BTW, downloaded from SourceForge.net, used different files, no change.
Any clue what to do?
Many thanks!!

Re: 64 bits installation

Does this behaviour occur after starting SH3D without loading a file?
If not, try loading different files and see if there's a difference between them.
Possible causes are file size, corrupt models, high-poli models like trees, etc.

Re: 64 bits installation

Thanks for the answer!
This is basically with always the same set of files. Just today I started the installed version, opened file A, very slow. Then started the .jnlp version, opened exaclty the same file, excellent speed.
Cheers.
