Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation
I have two balustrades (designed and imported as .OBJ) which are vertically aligned. How can I select the lower of the two items in order to move it slightly. Selecting it using the materials/furniture list doesn't work as you cannot move it using the up/L/R/down arrow keys as this selects the next item up or down in the list. Help!

Re: Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation
Right click in the plan where is placed your object and choose it in the Select object contextual menu, or make it visible in the 3D view, right click on it and choose the Select object item in the contextual menu.

Re: Selecting underlying objects at lower elevation
Thanks for all these great suggestions. I manage to solve this problem (in the end) by making the item on top 'invisible' by unchecking the box in the furniture list.
