Furniture not importing on MacBook Air M1
Hi guys, having trouble importing new furniture on SH3D. When I download a (Collada) ZIP file from 3D Warehouse, I can load it but when the orientation screen appears SH3D 'hangs' and I have to force quit the app.
Anybody else having this problem?

Try to run the program with Rosetta at least while you import a 3D model. What macOS version do you use?

I had a similar problem. So far, unfortunately, I could not find a solution.

Same here. MacBook Pro 14" 2021 with M1 Pro. It's freezing in the orientation view after selecting in obj file to import. using Sweet Home 3D Version 6.6a.
Did you guys find any workaround yet?
I can confirm, that importing entire libraries is working.

Pharmonie, your case is a little different because you use the free version in which case you should use the special version available at https://www.sweethome3d.com/downloads/SweetHome3D-6.6-macosx-jogl-2.3.2.dmg As this version can't be notarized, you'll have to launch it the first time by clicking on Sweet Home 3D icon while maintaining control key pressed and choosing Open item.

As a workaround I import the models with the FLE, save it in a library and then import that library with SH3D. Works for me with Ubuntu 21.10 and SH3D 6.6. Hope that's a (temporary) solution for the M1 too.

Puybaret, thank you! This solution worked fine in my case.
