How to design a raised ground floor

I'm a new user, so I'll try to describe my problem as detailed as I can. I hope it will make sense.

I want to design a house with a ground floor and a basement, where the ground floor is raised by 1m above the entrance door.

That is, you enter the main door, there is a small 1x1 space, and there is are 4-5 steps in front of you that go to the (raised) ground floor, and 5-6 steps to the left that go the basement.

How would you suggest to do this? Set the entrance as the reference point, and somehow add 1m offset to the ground floor?

If I do this, will I be able to add the stairs and make them begin at the door level and go up 1m?

Is there another way to achieve what I want?

Feel free to ask any questions if you want me to clarify something.

Thanks in advance and sorry if that doesn't make any sense tongue

Re: How to design a raised ground floor

First read the manual concerning levels: https://sweethome3d.com/userGuide.jsp#addingLevels

In your specific case I would have a level 0 as the basic outside level, i.e. the terrain. This woud be where your 4-step stais are to get into the house.
A level 1 starting at +100 cm which is your house ground level with whatever height you want.
A level -1 is the basement level starting at minus x meter where x is:
-(the height of the basement - 100 cm + the floor thickness of level 1)
(notice the minus sign before '(' )

For example all your floors including the basement are each 300 high and every floor thickness is 12.
this would make the levels:

level -1, elevation -212, height 300
(elevation calculation: -(height 300 - 100 + floor thickness 12) = -212)

level 0, elevation 0, height 300 (or more, doesn't really matter)

level 1, elevation 100, height 300.

To see how this works draw a simple square of walls on level -1 and give the walls a height of 300.
Copy those walls and paste them on level 1.
Create a room on level 1 and move that room a little outside the walls.
Now you can see exactly how level heights and floor thickness corrolate to each other. (Make sure you have the 3D view to show all levels.)
Place a box with a height of 100 cm on level 0 and you can see that the top of the box is at the same level as the top of the floor of level 1.
