Where are imported OBJ store

Hi

I have imported a test OBJ called chicken.obj and it has appeared in my library in the bathroom section which is expected.

I cannot find the physical location of where this OBJ is stored or indeed which file it is merged into.

The furniture.jar is not updated. The only location of file updates are

C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D

and

C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D\work\7000-xxxxxxx-a06f-46f9-b06f-4b9325cb2621

There are some import444444444.zips here that copntain the chicken.obj and its mtl file

Does this mean that the imported OBJ files are always stored here in a temporary fashion as a zip file or have I missed some thing?

I would of expected them to get merged into a imported.SH3F file or stored in an 'imported OBJ' folder.

Many thanks

Re: Where are imported OBJ store

As you discovered by yourself, an imported 3D model and its icon are stored in .pref files in the folder:
C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\eTeks\Sweet Home 3D

These files are then referenced in the file preferences.xml.
Merging models in a SH3F file would lead to slower and slower operations when many models are imported.
