Using SweetHome As A Design Example For An Architect
Is there any place for SweetHome to be used to create a house plan so that an architect can then make drawings from the house plan, or is it a waste of time?
I ask this because it appears there is no way to export all that hard work to a format pros can use.

Unless you're an architect yourself looking for advice from a colleague, I'm pretty sure that any architect would prefer to restart from scratch the plans you designed with the tool he used to work with and the building constraints you may not know so well. So providing to him the images of your plan would be probably enough for him to be inspired by your ideas. But you can export also your design at OBJ format so he can navigate in 3D in it.

I think Sweet Home 3d is a very good software for architects. Easy to use, it has everything you need to present a project, which can be done in a relatively short time, 2D plans, 3D view of plans, measurements, I definitely recommend it.
