Considering paid version - have questions
I've been a casual user of SH3D for years. Now that I'm in a position to financially afford to build my own home, I've been tinkering with it a lot more. I wasn't even aware there was a paid version until a few minutes ago when I went to the download page to get an update.
I was about to click the button to d/l the paid version from the Microsoft app store when some questions popped into my head.
1. I have already started designing my house, so I have a lot of things saved. If I install the paid version, will it just install over the free version, or will it create a mess for me to have to sort out afterward? I already went through a nightmare of reinstalling the free version on my new computer and having to figure out how to transfer all of my files from my old computer to the new computer, and I don't have the mental energy to completely screw up everything all over again by going from free to paid.
2. If I install the paid version, will I have to pay each time there's an update, or is it a one-time fee?
3. How is the paid version different than the free version?

Re: Considering paid version - have questions
1. The Microsoft Store version won't replace the free version because it's not installed at the same place, but imported stuff will be available in both versions. I would just suggest to uninstall the free version.
2. Until now, updates are free.
3. The paid version offers the same features, 3D models and textures as in the GNU GPL version + all the models available at the free models page + the two textures libraries described at textures import page + auto update.
