Corrupted Recovery File
Good Afternoon
Mac IOS Sonoma 14 SweetHome3D-7.2-maciosx
My computer recently upgraded to Sonoma IOS, I was using SweetHome3D software when the program just stop working and froze.
I force quit the SweetHome3d program and tried to access the program again however this time a got the SweetHome 3D banner than a new page open with my file name.shed (Recovered) with the apple umbrella turning non stop and we are stuck there. I must force quit to stop it.
I think the recovery file the software is trying to open is corrupted, how do I remedy the situation? the software is not usable at the moment.
Looking forward to hear from someone on this issue

Re: Corrupted Recovery File
You’ll find the recovery file in the subfolder Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D/recovery in your home folder. You may go to this folder with Go > Go to menu item in the Finder, then entering ~/Library/Application Support/eTeks/Sweet Home 3D If you don’t mind, send me the file to help me understand why it blocked.

Re: Corrupted Recovery File
Thank you very much for the prompt response
I failed to mentioned yesterday that I am running the SweetHome3D program directly from the folder it was downloaded to.
It is not installed on the MAC, as such, there is no Eteks folder in the application support folder. Where do you think the recoverable file is located when using the program the way I do?

Re: Corrupted Recovery File
Copying the program on your disk won’t change the place where recovered files are saved. Weren’t you able to find the folder I mentioned?
