Calculate floor size depending on room height
In Germany, there is a rule that says that floor sizes depend on the room height, meaning a room that is at least 2 meters high will be listed with its full actual size, a room between 1 and 2 meters in height will only be listed with 50% of its actual size and a room that is less than a meter high will not be added to the floor size at all.
It would be nice to have a feature that reflects this (ideally with an option to set the height and percentages since they probably vary across countries) so that you could see the "actual size" of the floor as it is shown now as well as the size to be listed for that room / added to the total floor size of the apartment / house. This would ideally calculate the floor size of a room with sloping walls by splitting it up into the different areas, so adding the full size to the parts that are 2 meters or higher, 50% to those that are between 2 and 1 meters and dropping the parts that are below 1 meter.
Then it could list the actual floor size of the whole apartment / house with the actual floor size as well as the sizes added depending on the height.

I doubt this will be added to Sweet Home 3D. It's too specific and very, very few users need or want it. That it requires extra preference settings doesn't make it easier.
You can ask for the extra features to be implemented in the Rooms Information plugin, although I know that the author Dorin is very busy and probably has other priorities.
But, everything is open-source. So you could get a copy of the Rooms Information source and program your wishes in it yourself. The plugin has a feature for calculating the wall surface so there is some guidance for the wall heights to start with.
