2D display of items still not working properly

item 1 at elevation 138 and height 10
item 2 at elevation 100 and height 500

In 3d view its 100%
In 2d view item 1 appears over item 2, even though item 2 is MUCH TALLER than item 1.

Seems that Sweet Home does not take the height of an item into account at all on the 2d, only the elevation, which is a DISASTER and sadly makes it unusable as a real design product

Re: 2D display of items still not working properly

In 2D view the sequence of the items depends on the sequence in the furniture list.
You need to exchange the position of item 1 and item 2. Which only will help if the are in the same group. Otherwise you need to exchange the groups.

Re: 2D display of items still not working properly

In the 2Dview items are stacked according to their elevation. That's why your item 1 shows on top of item 2 in the 2Dview.
Like Waldemar said, grouping can solve that. In a group the order of the items determines which is shown on top.
If you want a specific item in a group to be on top then there's a little trick to do this: select the item in the group and cut it. Select the group and right click, select 'Paste to group' from the context menu. Now the item is the last item in the group and should show on top. Knowing this you can create a group in the order you want by selecting the items in that order before grouping, last one selected is the one on top.
