Are "Geographic Coordinates" the location of 0, 0?
Hi, I'm a new user. I would like to draw floorplans for a house in the GPS location it will be. The Modify Compass options include 2 data points. One is the location of the Compass Rose. The other is Geographic Location (GPS).
My Compass Rose is set to -1.0, -1.0.
What is the actual X,Y coordinate that aligns with the Geographic Location (GPS coordinates) that I input? Is it the compass rose, or is it 0, 0? Thanks!

The main purpose of geographic coordinates is to determine the sun elevation above the horizon to draw shadows and reflections as it would happen in the real world. Moreover the GPS is not accurate enough to take measurements for a single building, you shouldn't worry about such fine alignment.

The Compass rose is the coordinate where the compass is displayed in the 2D plan. The Geographic location is the GPS location of the compass rose. The North direction is the direction to north of the 2D plan.
In my case the Geographic location is N 48.480 and E 8.747 which south of Stuttgart Germany.
