Couldn't attach tecture with correct dimension to imported OBJ file (not *.mtl error)

Hello!

I use the follwing version: 7.5.1 from Microsoft Store

I could import *.obj file with texure, it works well, but i have problem when i would like to modify the texures in the Sweet Home 3D

I made the furniture 3D models in Autodesk Inventor and exported them to OBJ files.
I didn't set (in Autodesk Inventor) a texture for some of the furniture because my plan was to change the different textures on them in Sweet Home 3D to find the one that suits them best.
My problem is that the texture size does not fit the objects, as if the texture is much, much larger.

I am attaching a picture of the settings.

Imported OBJ

Then I tried to use an built in/original texture, what is 30x30cm. You could see the setting and the result in the following picture

Builtin texture

My obj file is the following:
OBJ file

should I use a program other than Autodesk Inventor?

Thanks You for your help!

Re: Couldn't attach tecture with correct dimension to imported OBJ file (not *.mtl error)

First of all, for such a basic model you should just use a box from the Sweet Home 3D catalog. With a box you can place (different) textures on each side of the model.

Then texturing.
When you modify an object there are two ways to texture the model.
The first option is to select the Texture button in the color and texture section of the modify object dialog, which sets the selected texture to all faces (sides) of the model.
The second option is to select the Modify button in the color and texture section of the modify object dialog, which allows you to select a color or texture for each material defined in your model. Your model only has one material ("191,191,191") but the result of setting the texture to this material is different from the way it is set if you use option 1. Your model is now filled with a repeat of very small images of the texture image. You can change that by setting the scale %. A value of 5000% will show the grass you selected.

The two methods of texturing in Sweet Home 3D each use a different algorithm to set the textures. By using the Modify button and setting the scale to 5000% you get the result you want.
