Arm64 Ubuntu 24.10 blacked out parts of the window

Hi everyone,
I just installed sweethome3d from the ubuntu repositories on an Elitebook G1Q with a Snapdragon X with apt install sweethome3d and whenever I launch the application parts of the window are blacked out.

Terminal output is:

WARNING: A restricted method in java.lang.System has been called
WARNING: java.lang.System::loadLibrary has been called by javax.media.j3d.NativePipeline$1 in an unnamed module (file:/usr/share/java/j3dcore-1.5.2.jar)
WARNING: Use --enable-native-access=ALL-UNNAMED to avoid a warning for callers in this module
WARNING: Restricted methods will be blocked in a future release unless native access is enabled

Java 3D: implicit antialiasing enabled

any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance
J
