Re: glass wall
Ramsheed,
You can't draw glass walls in SH3D.
The workaround is as follows: 1 - insert a door frame or a service hatch in your wall and give it the correct dimensions 2 - download one of the glass boxes in the Attachments section 3 - import the glass box 4 - resize and insert the glass box in your door frame or service hatch.

I'm trying to match a glass 'wall' with the glass door for a large shower. I tried the 'Box_trans_glass.obj' in the attachments, but the transparent doesn't dim the background the same as the door. Can this be corrected, or am I using the wrong object?

Re: glass wall
This youtube tutorial might help some people that find this thread.
Sweet home 3D - Glass wall | YouTube | RedTop Learning How to make a part of the oval shaped wall entirely out of glass using Sweet home 3D. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IjPzx_kITc
That describes how to turn a box into glass. To do the same with a wall just change the "usemtl wall*" lines in the obj file into "usemtl Glass" and do same with the mtl file as described in the post.
Of course it's easier to just pick an already created Glass object but this way you will understand how it works.
To match the glass with the shower you can export the shower and look in the generated shower mtl file of the shower how it's glass is defined. Just copy that to use as the "newmtl Glass" for your wall to turn it into the exact same glass.
To import your edited object use the menu "furniture", "Import furniture".
You really should take the advise hansmex gave and read the manual. There are many very basic things that you can read in there to make you understand the inner workings of Sweethome3D.
