ARCH D paper size & scaling

Fabulous software, thanks for making it. Poked thru the forum but I cannot find a way to create a scaled .SVG or to print to .PDF using ARCH D to a selected scale.

Thank you!

Re: ARCH D paper size & scaling

You should be able to set the desired paper size with the Page format button displayed in the Page setup dialog. I just tested it and miserably, I'm not sure the paper size is always correctly stored under Windows 7. sad
Maybe setting the paper size in Inkscape (used to handled SVG files) would work better.

Re: ARCH D paper size & scaling

I made some more tests, and had no problem to change default paper size under Windows XP and 8, and under Mac OS X.

Re: ARCH D paper size & scaling

I am using Windows 7 64bit. So then Sweet Home 3D sees the paper sizes the Win7 sees? If not, is there a way to add additional paper sizes to the software. If the software sees only the paper sizes Win7 is "aware" of, how might I add paper sizes?

Also, when exporting a plan view to SVG, SH3D does not allow me to set a scale. I had to create a graduated ruler on my drawing and thru trial and error proportionaly scale my SVG in Inkscape to achieve 1/4" scale on legal paper. There must be a better way?

Re: ARCH D paper size & scaling

After playing around I found 1/4" scale is achieved by setting scale to 75% in the Page Setup dialogue. However, there appears to be no way to set scale before exporting the SH3D as a SVG.

Yes
If not, is there a way to add additional paper sizes to the software.
Install the driver of a printer that would allow the user to customize paper sizes.

Also, when exporting a plan view to SVG, SH3D does not allow me to set a scale
In the SVG file, the scale is 1 cm = 1 pixel.
