This house has been designed for my partner and I to Retire and I assume die in. This might sound a bit strange to some people, but here in Australia the trend is heading in this direction and as a Woodstock Generation ( Baby Boomers) who would want to go into one of those Hell Holes to Die. ??
Basically conforms to the German Standard in this regard ,and will be Typhoon/Cyclone proof , High Fire Resistant (including sprinklers and the windows in the Bathroom are Escape Doors), Super Insulated with preheated Air from Earth Tubes. 4 to 6 small split system Heat Pumps will keep the Temperature spot on.. Ultimately it will have third generation DSC Solar panels made by TATA-Dyesol to make the house totally self sufficient.
4 Automatic Double Glazed Doors 8-9 foot wide (3M approx) will give good line of sight from the Kitchen / living room area into either bedroom.
The minimum width of hallways (ie between Bathroom & Bedroom is 4 foot (1.2 M ) , and the Carport is open in case of someone falling and being disabled.
The Roof space will be Steel Trusses and all of the Widows Double Glazed with inert gas and reflective Glass.
All exterior walls and the main supporting walls either side of the Kitchen / Living area are Polystyrene sheets filled with Rebar and Concrete. The rest are steel framing with Gyprock (Drywall) The Roof is ColourBond/ColorCoat Steel.
The WaterFall at the main Entrance will flow by pipe to the one in the front and be pumped then back to the Main entrance Waterfall.

A Home to grow Old in C
Hi, I am intrigued by your post and tried to use your link. I was wanting to see how you created a colorbond roof. The link returned an error, and no model. Peter
