Stairs going down

How can I manage to make the stairs going down instead of going up? It's not possible to use negative parameters for the ground distance. Or are there some stairs available 'suggests' going down?

Re: Stairs going down

You should create an underground level and the stairs to that level. To make a upper level becoming an underground level, simply modify the elevation of the level with a negative value.

I am trying to do this too, and I don't understand how to make the elevation negative. Could you explain? Thank you!

Re: Stairs going down

Once you added a level, you can modify its elevation by double-clicking on its tab, or by selecting it and choosing the Plan > Modify level menu item. In the modification dialog that will be shown, simply enter a negative value in the Elevation field.
