Sunroof
Hei! - I need a window thught roof and ceiling to my lovely house. Whether it is called ´sunroof`? I tried to make it at flat cylinder by myself, but it looked funny, and it was not any window.
- Then I find window for my convex wall, the walls arc exent is -60, have you that kind of window?
Now I´m finding the `great-man` who helps me again.

Re: Sunroof
Curved windows, or arched windows: read and follow the links in this thread
If you need horizontal window, you may follow these steps - choose the window you want to insert - export it, then import it again - while importing, rotate the window 90 degrees to make it horizontal - while importing, make sure to check Staircase - you can now insert the window in a floor/ceiling, and it will make a cut-out, just as windows in walls do
Another way to do this: - draw a wall that has the size and shape of your roof/ceiling - insert the window you need and make sure it is in the correct place - export wall and window - import wall and window and rotate it 90 degrees
If this is not the correct answer, share a picture of what it is that you need.

Sunroof: if it helps you could try Forum in other languages, Swedish should work (few Finns, though). Assuming Swedish might help: "markis", "soltak", "solskyddstak" or "takfönster" - or something entirely different.

Re: Sunroof
I and win8 seems to be some technical problems with respect to the discovery of files. It does save the SVG format, but does not provide them, that is, I can not find them for editing. But It does not matter. What if the cylinder should be somehow transparent?

Yes, Win 8 has some funny ideas about where to put files at times. As for your project, I think some more information about what you want to do would be useful.
SVG format is only for 2D drawings (flat plans and cutouts), for your model you need .obj format (or kmz/dae or some of the other 3d formats if you import from elsewhere).
I still don't understand your sunroof issue, but there is a round window included (in later SH3D versions) that can be put in a wall and exported/imported/rotated (selection of window and wall) to form a roof with a round window (skylight). If you want a round skylight on a flat roof(?), there is one already in this file which you can copy. See SF 3D 308.

Re: Sunroof
Hei! Thank for your lovely mind, to gave me your copy of the sunroofs. The bouth models are very useful to my house Kesäniemi (Summercape). And I took myself also the rounded street corner, it will be a good terrace corners bit too.
When my allready glum minded Visitor got these models, he asked your number and will likely change her job from Kesäniemi. Fortunately I bribed her a pizza and gin long drink, now she stay to eat it. She think about...
Thanks to you from middle autumn rain. Mimica & Visitor
