angry Creating video no video

Good day

I made sure when i create my video that all movement points are created but after the video is created i save the file (default file format is .MOV ) its creates a 0KB .mov file and there is no video after 10min of creating a video.

Please help.

So to follow your previous post, you seem to be able to save the MOV file now, even if it's empty, right? What did you change?

Hi there Emmanuel with previous tread -- could not get it to work so all i did in this post is installed program on another hardrive instead of C drive i installed in D drive with no windows on D drive. Yes i can save MOV file now but its empty why does this happen..

If I knew the answer, I would have given it already!
Did you try to create a SweetHome3D.l4j.ini as suggested in my previous answer?

yes i did and copied it in the c:/programs files/sweet home 3d/ and still doesn't work. Actual fact it doesn't even open the program

Hum, Jade, I'm ok to help you, but if you don't report the problems you encountered with the suggestions I made, then open an other (angry) thread to complain again, it's not going to be easy... sad

Are you sure that you didn't forget the hyphen in front of Dcom.eteks.sweethome3d.tools.temporarySubFolder....?
Without it, it can't work...

This is how i did it is it correct :

-Dcom.eteks.sweethome3d.tools.temporarySubFolder=C:\temp\

Please advise if correct

the file name is SweetHome3D.l4j.ini rename txt file to .ini

This sounds correct if C:\temp folder exists
