No 3D panel with SweetHome 4.5 on Debian Jessie
When I open a sh3d file with SweetHome 4.5 on Debian Jessie through Gnome 3.14.1, I can only display de 2D panel. Here are the log messages. Who can suggest anything ?

Re: No 3D panel with SweetHome 4.5 on Debian Jessie
Thank you for your answer Hans. I can already use Sweethome through Windoxs 7. I would like to use it through my Linux dist which is the new Debian 8 release (kernel 3.16.2). Using Ubuntu 14 for one app doesn't make sense in my environment. I will try again to make sh3d working with Debian 8 (also called Jessie). sh3d is part of the main dist packages and it should work. Here are the Debian packages : - sweethome - sweethome3d-furniture Here are the sweethome package dependancies : - icedtea-netx-common | sun-java6-bin - javawrappers - libfreehep-graphicsio-svg-java - libitext-java - libjava3d-java - libsunflow-java - libbatik-java - default-jre | java6-runtime
In your opinion, what is to be checked in this stuff ? Is there any probability to get it working ?

I've never used Debian, so what I'm telling you is about past experiences with Ubuntu.
You could try: - Read the FAQ, there's a note on 2D-3D problems linked to hardware - Update your graphics driver - Uninstall all versions of Java and install Oracle Sun Java - Finally, if the installed version of SH3D doesn't work, maybe the webstart version does.

Re: No 3D panel with SweetHome 4.5 on Debian Jessie
Thanks Hans,
I already succeeded to run my file and get 3D panel with the web version. I just had to install the java plugin of iceweasel. This was not part of the standard installation.
I will look later at the local running, but I will give a return. Bye
