Re: Library Editor won't run under Windows 10

A space between "-jar" and "C:\..." should work better.

Re: Library Editor won't run under Windows 10

You gotta be kidding me!?! It's that simple? ...Oh, wow. It IS! Thank you! Furniture Library Editor just finally opened for me! Question: Will I have to enter this code every time I want to use it?

Re: Library Editor won't run under Windows 10

Also, I just realized that while the Furniture Editor finally opened, I can't create a new library with it. That button doesn't seem to do anything. Anyone have any thoughts?

Re: Library Editor won't run under Windows 10

I can't create a new library with it.
When you start the Library Editor you already are in a new library. It just doesn't have any models in it and it is not saved with a name. You add models to it and then you save the library with the name you want. If you already have a library open the New button should close the current library and start a new empty library.
You can add models using the toolbar button but you can also drag .obj or .zip files with models into the editor window. You can select multiple models in one go and they import very fast.

Will I have to enter this code every time I want to use it?
I should be possible to create a command file to start the Editor and create a shortcut to it. The Furniture Library Editor forum post offers an icon to use for the shortcut.
I have no idea how that is done on Windows. The command file should probably have something like mentioned in the forum post:

exec java -jar /path/to/FurnitureLibraryEeditor-2.2.jar

You can use the same method for the Texture Library Editor .

Re: Library Editor won't run under Windows 10

This is the command I use to start the Furniture Library Editor on Windows 10
"C:\Program Files\Sweet Home 3D\runtime\bin\javaw.exe" -jar "C:\Program Files\Sweet Home 3D\lib\FurnitureLibraryEditor-2.2.jar"
Move your Furniture Editor from your Downloads folder to your Sweet Home 3D\lib folder.
Right click on your Desktop, select New Shortcut, paste the above command into the shortcut wizard, click next, name the shortcut, click finish.
Right click on the shortcut , select Properties, click Change Icon button, browse to icon location, I just use the Sweet Home 3D icon.
Click OK.
Right drag icon to Taskbar to pin to taskbar, once pinned delete shortcut from Desktop.
